problem to install I’m new to play with mod I don’t understand 😕
Can someone help me install the mod I’ve followed all the steps bit it’s not working for me the mods don’t show up ?😣

Where does DH not show up? And what steps did you follow?
When using Modrinth Launcher:
- create a new Instance with e.g. Fabric on MC 1.20.1,
- wait for it to compleate downloading,
- open the instance,
- click add content,
- search for Distant Horizons,
- click install
For different launchers:
- go to the DH Modrinth Page
- (select different version if necesarry)
- download the mod file
- put it in the
mods folder in your minecraft instance
Note that for this you have to install your mod instance seperatly and it is too long for me to type this, search how to install fabric mods or smth, or just use Modrinth launcherModrinth

SO I put the jar versin in my mods folder for forge 1.20.6 and when im i check in the mods menu in game it juste showing forge
There is no DH version for forge 1.20.6, only for fabric and neoforge

I would recommend just using neoforge instead
Forge is getting much less maintaining anyway, as almost everyone except one person of the forge team have switched to neoforge

You should send your
latest.log file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are located in the .minecraft/logs directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraftthank i think that i got it now i hope that i will be abol to put some shader
