How do I get distant horizons to work for large render distances on minecraft server?
friends anf i made a server but they can only cread LODs for chunks they have been to. As the host this isnt an issue for me since i will have an insane render distance because i used chunky, but how can i hep my friends get the same reder distance and get the lods to work/load in multiplayer servers.

Generate a bunch of LODs then send the file over to your friends
/lodstored
Single Player:
- Overworld:
.minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Nether: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM-1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- End: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Custom Dimensions: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIMENSION_FOLDER/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
Multiplayer:
- .minecraft/Distant_Horizons_server_data/SERVER_NAME/
Note that they'll still have to visit chunks to update LODs whenever someone builds something
Is there a command they can type while in game to get these lods, or do I have to send them the file in /lodstored everytime theres a big world file expansion
once i get the file where do they put it?
The latter
In the multiplayer part of YAGPDBs message
ty it worked, we got it to work on multiplater
Nice!
