config
What do I need to change in the config to change the LGX Lite extruder to the LGX Lite Pro

I believe there are no config changesβ¦
It should indeed work the same, i don't think there's any change in rotation_distance, but you may want to calibrate it afterwards just to be sure.
I dont know where to change estep
562 for lgx lite and 800 for lgx pro
I uses differnet motor and i dont know what to change to avoid burning it
you have to change the rotation distance
Do I have to change anything in stepper configuration like current or something like that
No, just add
E-steps are useless, they include microstep settings, full_steps_per_rotation and other things unrelated to the actual mechanical properties of the extruder, klipper just wants to know how many mm filament is extruded with one full rotation of the stepper. Bondtech should provide klipper rotation_distance as well.
ok thank you
The complete info you need is:
[extruder]
rotation_distance: 4.0
[tmc2209 extruder]
run_current: 0.650
Just add this on your printer.cfg (in the bottom) and it will should correctly.
They only provide stepps per mm π¦
yep... Checked every single page from every single extruder... Also because I need motor info π
It used to be on the LGX and LGX Lite?
used to...
now only this
ffs
every single extruder only shows e-steps...
even BMG π
Bondtech is now a Marlin / RRF only company, confirmed.. π
bad thing most of the users are now klipper π
anyway.. Rotation_distance = microsteps * full_steps_per_rotation / steps_pr_mm. So 16 * 200 / 400 = 8 16 * 200 / 800 = 4
I'm assuming it's a 0.9 degree motor then (... sigh...)?
LGX Lite Pro is 1.8
steps per mm are 800
it says 400 @ 16-bit
400 is LGX π
Oooh you posted a different specsheet π
nope...
yes... π
this is for the pro
gooot it π
sorry...
also a 0.9 degree motor would've been 16, so... π
hehehehehehe
Already asked my contact inside bondtech for the datasheet
to make sure it is 0.9 or 1.8
because 800 for a 1.8 looks a bit of
