What CPU preset do you use?

Also for faster generation:
- install mods:
- Noisium
- Faster Random
- turn off shaders (you can turn them back on later)
- reduce vanilla RD to 2

What is your DH RD? i've tried 128-500
Ok, so try this:
- set vanilla RD to 2
- turn off shaders
- set DH render distance to 32
- set DH CPU load to aggressive
- restart the game
- wait still for couple minutes in middle of new test world
Report If anything loads past the 2 vanilla chunks
turn off shaders (you can turn them back on later) - Doesn't do anything sadly
reduce vanilla RD to 2 - Didn't work sadly
new chunks load fine in normal game
then still show
in DH
but i have to like MANUALLY go load the chunks

restart the game - Tried and even restarted PC
wait still for couple minutes in middle of new test world - Left game open in backround the other day for about an hour flying around on a airship and none of the chunks loaded except what i flew over

I have reason to believe its a mod compat issue
im using alot of performance mods
any known incompatabilities?
DH works as intended on 1.20.4 Fabric test i did
I did have this same issue, I solved it but I was messing around with the configuration of the mod in-game, so it's not exactly in solid memory of how I solved this. I can probably tell you the section I messed around with.
I've been thinking about restting the config completely and seeing if thats the issue

On every like option in the configuration there is a reset button in red, it will take a while but I believe you have to go to every single one and hit reset. Im gonna make sure that my statements are true by running DH, I'll update you.
There are indeed reset buttons on every option, try that and see if it works, if not I can screenshot all of my options and what they are set at.
I just deleted the .toml file in config and it reset everything

I would try that but im like 99% sure its a mod causing it... imna make a new profile with just a couple mods and see if it works
if it works standalone like that then i have to check mods one by one which will take hours because i have 350 modsðŸ˜

Installed on a new profile, DH chunks slowly loading. Probably a mod conflict issue then right?
This is my POV of the mod, it was a quick fix for me just by editing the config, I dont think its anything as far as you think it is.
Try DMing me ur settings

There is a config somewhere where you can increase the speed of loading the chunks.

DH is working if i install it on a new profile tho
thats what makes me think its a mod conflict issue, potentially one that has to due with render distance or chunk loading
Then I would try to have DH on standalone. I have DH with a mod pack called "Better Adventures Plus" and it works smoothly with the shaders and everything.
If you are wondering a "how to" to combine DH with that modpack, there's a tutorial on YT for it.
One of these mods was causing it
disabled those mods and boom instantly works again completely fine
If someone is going to add it to FAQ or an Incompatibility list i will test to see which it is if staff here wants
but 100% one of these mods is just straight breaking DH chunk loading
2 render distance new world
DH chunks are still loading
but i put it at 500
so it just takes a while
if anyone else is having this issue to fix it try disabling those mods. if that doesn't work disable mods that have to do with chunk loading

i do what you said about to disable that mods and the chunk loading is limited, and later for a moment that error in the chat appears

Just to emphasize, these are the mods that did not let me use DH and after removing them it worked but in a limited way.
