steam cant load vulkan shaders
Games on the heroic games launcher work fine, but in steam it keeps trying to process/load vulkan shaders. I dont know if this is necessary or if i need to update the drivers for my nvidia from another place. My GPU is a gtx 1660. Im using KDE Desktop bazzite.

That's normal, you can skip it
No need to wait for it
if i skip the game dont start
That's not normal
And should not at all be a factor
yeah
im usin proton GE 9-6
maybe its the version?
I'm afraid I have no advice, you're the first person to say anything like that to me in 5 years of doing this
thanks for the attention any way ^^
if u find the anser pls tell me
just to add more info, this is what appears when trying to open a game, if i skip it just dont start
Try proton experimental. I have Helldivers 2 working fine out of the box on Nvidia. I only add commands to make it run full screen in gamescpe but it's optional
Shaders loading isn't the issue - it's loading them for you, then the game isn't able to start. Press skip to save yourself waiting between test launches
ok, gonna tryit
still same issue :/
i think i found the problem
was installing the games in another hd
gonna re-install them and tell if works
Might be it - you need a few things set up to make 2nd HDD work with steam
Should be lots of guides here if you search
thx, gonna look for it later
solved, i was instaling the games in another SSD, because it was working for the Heroic Games launcher, but when i installed them in the main SSD, where the OS is installed, they worked just fine
Guessing the drive was originally ntfs when you had the issue? as that's not supported by us or steam
thx, gonna read about it, but i see the problem
