steam cant load vulkan shaders

Games on the heroic games launcher work fine, but in steam it keeps trying to process/load vulkan shaders. I dont know if this is necessary or if i need to update the drivers for my nvidia from another place. My GPU is a gtx 1660. Im using KDE Desktop bazzite.

Try proton experimental. I have Helldivers 2 working fine out of the box on Nvidia. I only add commands to make it run full screen in gamescpe but it's optional Shaders loading isn't the issue - it's loading them for you, then the game isn't able to start. Press skip to save yourself waiting between test launches

Might be it - you need a few things set up to make 2nd HDD work with steam Should be lots of guides here if you search

thx, gonna look for it later solved, i was instaling the games in another SSD, because it was working for the Heroic Games launcher, but when i installed them in the main SSD, where the OS is installed, they worked just fine

Guessing the drive was originally ntfs when you had the issue? as that's not supported by us or steam

Same problem. Starting just recently, Steam won't process the vulkan shaders for Warframe. Stuck at 0%. If I skip it, the Warframe launcher app runs, but the game itself doesn't seem to have a display window. It's on the local linux drive. Started with Proton GE. Changed nothing to cause the problem. Switched to Proton 9.0, no vulkan shaders problem, same bug. Maybe it isn't the shaders
