That’s up to you. The risk is always there when that program changes game elements or bypasses anything (emulator lobby, resolution, graphics ingame, skins, etc.).
If you want to stay save use the gameloop emulator and don’t mod anything. Even better play the intended version for PC called PUBG. It is free to play.
