'Cannot redeploy without a snapshot'

Our cron job was working fine, and it seems a few days ago it silently stopped running. Trying to trigger it manually gives an error 'Cannot redeploy without a snapshot'..?

Porject ID: 4c3b4b0e-006a-407e-90c7-9c3031cd622f It was running fine every 15 minute for weeks. Then it just died. I was able to get it going again by pushing an empty commit to github. not sure if its going to keep working after this one run, i will update the fact that it stopped without any errors or notificaitons is really concerning.

Indeed :) I can confirm it has been working since this issue. But now I am keeping a keen eye on it incase it just dies again! Any idea what the cause is?

Latest change log contains an entry re Cron jobs:
Patched our cron scheduling logic to clean up prior deployments that may have prevented upcoming executions from properly running.
Could this have had something to do with our issue? We still don't really have a resolution on this, and not sure if I can rely on Cron jobs going forward.

Yes, this came as a result from your and around 10 other reports, we found what we think was the root cause of the issue.
