I believe that those trees that aren't rendering any leaves are in your vanilla render distance right?

macos does do weird things sometimes, so maybe? although i havent seen anyone else with this issue on macos

Some leaves work and some don't...
Are certain types of leaves not working e.g. jungle or oak or dark oak
Those are called LODs
are are loaded properly
You can either:
- Increase Noise Texture to e.g. steps 8, strength 16, to help it blend better
- Increase vanilla RD
Lods do not have textures
If you want textured render distance use Bobby mod
But then your fps won't allow you to go over 48

I did what you tell and still have the leaves issue of not loading this was not happening in 1.19. And this is an issue cause has you can this at left in blue the leaves load but in right the leaves don't. And you can see in red the normal leaves with texture in vanilla render distance.
So, before being rude, take a better look at the problem.

Ah, so it seems that leaves that are not rendered are in some chunk. So some chunck render them properly and some do not render them properly .
Maybe Artifacts are linked ?

To add to your issue, I also have this issue
Initially, I thought it was Dynamic Trees but I never had the issue similarly before in such noticeable fashion
The solution I got told that addressed the leaves was removing the DH config and having the mod recreate it
My client context is Windows 10 though. Default DH settings
Oculus/Embeddium w/ Bliss Shaders
I have deleted the config and reinstalled DH, but I am still having the issue.

See if your drivers are outdated and update them if they are and also remove starlight and see if that makes a difference because it is generating a problem
