Might be because of Optifine Try using: - Embedium - Oculus - Other Optifine parity and alternative mods

Oculus doesn't have a version for 1.20.4, and I don't see enough value in Embedium to use it :/ We've already discussed Oculus in another thread, and it wasn't the issue-- and jumping right to that doesn't help much when it could just be some miscellaneous setting

There is a brightness setting inside teh settings You can check it Or delete the config to generate a default new one /config

To edit the config, press the button next to the FOV slider to edit the config. The config file found in .minecraft/config/DistantHorizons.toml

so changing the brightness setting results in transparency oddly enough. from what I can tell-- the colors are there, but they're behind just a really odd tint :/ While I think this is a shader issue-- I'm not certain how I'd resolve it, considering I can't specifically change it with fog effects or anything Turning off shaders completely results in the normal, fully colorized image-- and it's the same with internal shaders Bliss shaders don't work, but Sildur's shaders do for some reason 🤷 idk-- probably just a shader specific thing
