I just wear them to work so they’re not even worn out 😭😭😭
I mean its just whatever the outfit calls for. For me, thats mostly loafers (either color blocked black and white chunky ones or brown leather), or sneakers (NB 550s in white and grey suede or GATs probably the most common though I have others that also get a lot of use)
my shoe collection has expanded yet the vast majority of the time i'm reaching for one of these

I almost exclusively wear sneakers - most of them really chunky because I’m on my feet all day and I’ve gotten to a point where I like the look in my outfits. Leather shoes are (except boots in winter) a rare thing for me.
i was going to say the opposite lol; it's easier for me to slip on loafers and wipe them off if anything happens
it varies heavily by season but these are the late spring dailies

I don’t like wearing the same shoe multiple days in a row if I can help it. These are all my “dailies”
My cruisers
Boston or 3 eye timb when I’m note going to the office and Michaels or Drake’s Crosby when I’m going to work
L->R: daily casual (in need of some polish!), work/shorts/sweatpants wear, running shoes, nice sneakers, suit wear
These are in heavy rotation right now.
stan smiths in the summer until these pair fall apart, then readjust.
Solovairs and red wings in the winter and they probably wont fall apart.
Ive really cut down on footwear and it's been liberating as a former sneaker fiend
mainly a sneakers guy, these are the most worn in my rotation (as you can see.) i have some loafers, boots, Tevas and a few other pairs of sneakers but these are my mains

I mostly wore these two pairs as my daily drivers for the last couple of years. Nowadays I try to mix it up a bit more
I picked these up as deadlift shoes and then just kept wearing them

Listen, I got a big collection and rotation, but the point of the post was to see your beaters, essentially, or the pairs that are in heavy rotation at the moment. Although, if you really don’t have any, then this one passes.
I legitimately don’t have any, I try to wear all my shit
So then nothing gets very beat
I respect that you’re able to rotate them all. It takes a lot of dedication to try and rotate them all without having favorites that get more wear.
How are the Michael boots treating you, btw?
I’ve been wanting to get myself a pair for a while now.
I will say that I definitely do have my favorites amongst favorites still for sure. Michaels are definitely up there
Super comfy, weird looking shoes, I love them
Awesome. When I’m done moving to Europe, I’ll go and try them on and see if they’ll fit me. I have wide, flat feet with a low instep, so it’s often tricky finding well-fitting shoes that don’t have multiple width sizes.
I think they would probably work for you, they’re pretty generously shaped
