I have very dark lod textures-- even without texture packs or shaders
To my knowledge, I don't have anything that would be getting in the way of the Distant Horizons mod-- so I'm a bit lost. :/

What DH and Oculus version do you use?
You should send your
latest.log
file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
I am using DH 2.0.4 (for 1.20.4) on forge using optifine
so no oculus
optifine doesn't have proper shader support with DH
you can switch to Oculus or ask Optifine for support
ok gotcha
I'll try it out
@Miki_P98 I can't even find oculus for 1.20.4 :/
I'm sure I've seen it somewhere
I can't find it on Modrinth nor Curseforge
maybe try to look in their DC
it might also be nightly
nightly?
Yeah there just isn't support for 1.20.4 :/
latest version is 1.20.1
Even without optifine it's broken 💀 @Miki_P98
lmao

Try deleting your old LOD data
/lodstored
Single Player:
- Overworld:
.minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Nether: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM-1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- End: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIM1/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
- Custom Dimensions: .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/DIMENSION_FOLDER/data/DistantHorizons.sqlite
Multiplayer:
- .minecraft/Distant_Horizons_server_data/SERVER_NAME/
I'd say I'm done testing it, though now no chunks are being generated at all :/
Still baked :/
This is after deleting all LOD data @MarijnIsN00B (UTC+1)
They meant Oculus for 1.20.4
Turns out the weird dark spots was ambient occlusion's strength setting :/
