Dua 5015's always running - but not in the interface

Hello, I have a new Vcore 3.1 build and did dual 5015's on an Octopus 1.1. I edited my printer.cfg and they both turn on when the extruder turns on but that is the extent of the control I have over them. The GUI shows 0% fan speed but they are on 100% in real life:) When trying to turn off the fan in a print for the first layer that too is ignore. What did I mess up? Edit, I accidentally used the "controller fan" pin for the second fan. Moved it to another port and all works as expected.
