You should send your
latest.log file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are located in the .minecraft/logs directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logscrash report or log?
log
logs are more useful
e.g. they contain the mod list
distant horizons is client side only, running it on the server will not do anything

I have to, both the client side and server side needs to match, it gives error otherwise
No it won't with DH
Other mods might, yes
But mods that are client side only will not
