Asking for sudo password after update
finally updated ratos after years, and as usual, it broke everything lol.

RatOS automatically compiles firmware for your board when klipper is updated, if that fails, the RatOS Configurator will assist you in flashing your board in one of multiple ways. You shouldn't have to do this unless something is severely broken.

shit I don't even have access to the config files, anyway to extract them? can I read the sd card directly or will it be protected?

and the entry was very badly named in my password manager

Just a note, i can only do compatibility fixes within relative reasonable timespans, several years is quite hard for me to test π
i recommend updating bi-monthly, or not updating at all (or do and expect maybem (maybe mayhem) π
