Can you explain step by step?
I'm not clear from program you're exporting from
Do you mean: "Exporting from inside Open Brush"? Or something else?
When uploading a png image to open brush it is not transparent, what can I do?
I need the image to be transparent
Can you DM me the png?
.
You can see that it is transparent but when you apply it to open brush, it looks like a square and what should be transparent turns out to be white.
It worked for me but I had some other issues. Are you:
a) on the beta or the normal release?
b) running Quest standalone or PC VR?
Oculos 3
I downloaded the latest version of open brush, I created the png image but when I moved it to the open brush space, it was not transparent.
Oculos 3Quest 3 - ok. But I also need to know if you're running it standalone or via a PC (i.e. Link cable over USB or Airlink) - That's why I wrote (a) and (b) above. I want to test under the same setup you're using to see if I can reproduce the problem. At the moment it works - but I am getting other issues instead. So I want to understand what your set up is.
If I transfer it via USB from Oculos 3 to the computer, I don't know how to transfer it from Oculos 3 directly.
Are you running Open Brush directly on the Quest? Or are you running it on a PC connected to the Quest?
I connect the PC to the oculus 3 to transfer the images
So - you're running Open Brush itself directly on the Quest. That's fine. I can test now.
Here's a quick test I did with your image:
That seems correct to me. Do you agree?
but how did you upload it
how do you upload it
I just copied it on to the Quest like any other file
I use SideQuest but it should work the same if you use any file copy method.
Unless Windows MTP messes it up... 🤔
Let me check that
SideQuest ?
