plantar fasciitis
Any advice on high top sneakers that are comfortable? I love my chuck 70s but the pain lasts for days after i wear them.

My vote is for insoles/inserts
My podiatrist told me to make sure the heel is higher than the toe bed which means chucks, vans, etc are typically bad. You can get custom inserts/orthotics and also a heel lift, which is a little cushion you put under the heel of the insert to raise your foot. As I imagine most women know all too well, fashion is not very kind to most feet
I’ve tried a few different inserts and insoles without much success. At 6’6” and 220 lbs, I’ve even gone for ‘bigger guy’ inserts, but they lose their effectiveness after a few months. I’m on the lookout for more supportive high-top sneakers and considering investing in pricier inserts. I’ve been dealing with pain for a week since walking around San Francisco last Saturday in my chuck 70s.
If you get custom inserts at the podiatrist, it's expensive, but they'll last forever. Best decision I made for my feet.
