pleated pants
I saw this pic of old Popular Merchandise pleated pants; Although it’s womenswear, the pants themselves still intrigued me. Does anyone have any good recs for high waist, wide leg pleated pants? I’ve found similar stuff from mfpen (classic trouser), studio Nicholson (almost all their offerings with pleats but no balloon leg), and engineered garments (wp pant), but all of them bar mfpen’s stuff is a bit out of my price range of sub-$250 unless I go used, which I’m open to.
All the aforementioned pants I do like, but I’m not sure they totally align with what I want. I’m mostly a fatigues/jeans guy so I’m not super familiar with trouser fit/terminology, so my apologies if this is not specific enough. I kind of want something more unisex to avoid going full grandpa mode if possible. Nothing against looking like a grandpa, I just already do that most of the time.

I'd just ebay pleated pants and then check measurements to make sure the rise is high enough
that or a thrift store
I got these for like $7
Just try and find the women’s ones if they come in your size
These are pretty similar to the first pic, just women’s slacks I stumble on in a thrift store, but I’m sure they’re around on eBay
The no-waistband detail might help you sort through for similar stuff idk
Thank you all. I’ll hit up a thrift store
Thanks for this too - this is a detail I wasn’t really picking up on when comparing pants

@Ben (GSH) what do you think of pleats on pants that aren't high rise?
I don't like low rise pants so I can't really comment about those, but pleats on medium rise pants are cool, just like on high rise!
