OBS gets stuck on "Stoping Recording"
Sometimes when I stop a recording OBS will just hang on the "Stoping Recording" and never finish. I really donĀ“t know what could be causing this. I have a beefy PC with an RTX 4080 and my recording settings are attached in the images (srry for the spanish UI)

I assume you force close OBS when this happens?
Can you post an OBS log where you have a recording session being done
Yeah when this happens I have to force it to close. Fortunately the recordings are salvageable since they are fragmented mp4
How can I get a log? And is it good from any recording session? Or do you need it from one where this issue happens
One where the issue happens
Top of obs. Help > log files > show log files. They are named with the time/date obs was launched which should help narrow it down
Here ya go
And I lost 30 min of capture at least with this one :((
IĀ“ve been looking into it and... I donĀ“t really get it but it seems it might be audio codec related?
I just notice sometimes when recording I get the overload warning. But I have a 4080 and an i5 13600k, so I don't know if that's normal. My recording settings are on the first message
Just saw this. Just letting you know I have experienced this in the recent past also. I just close OBS and restart. Never put much thought into it after restarting and it running normally. Although it never caused me any major loss either.
Stuff to rule out:
Disable hags, restart the computer, see if it still Happens.
Does it only happen on the d drive? Is it USB? Old spinning rust?
Are you using the splitting feature? (Split file ever x min / x size)
