Dropper gets permanently stuck on one color
I've had a problem lately where my dropper stops registering new colors. I don't know when or why it happens, just that eventually it will. I'm not even sure if the color it gets stuck on is one I had been using. Reloading doesn't fix the problem. If I start a new sketch it will fix itself, but my afflicted sketches are effectively hosed. I live in fear, please help!

You've tagged this "beta". Does it only happen on the beta? If so, can you remember roughly when it started happening?
Unfortunately I don't know if it happens outside of the beta branch as I have no idea how to replicate the bug. It started happening last week.
I did discover a workaround - if you squash all the layers of the sketch it will fix the dropper. You can undo the squash immediately afterwards and it will still be fixed.
Before that, I had tried reverting to other versions. The official release branch maintained the broken dropper in the affected sketches. The previous build fixed it, maybe because it doesn't have layers at all.
Let me know if you want me to send one of the broken sketches for troubleshooting.
Yes. Can you DM me a broken sketch? That would help in replicating the problem.
I am somewhat embarrassed to admit that I cleared my old sketches today without thinking of my promise in this thread 🤦♀️ If it happens again I will send it.
