Residue build up at nozzle

Hello all, I run into a problem while printing PETG, a stringing filament. Some residue from plastic string build up on my nozzle and it is a hassle, Is there a way to prevent this?
Solution:
No prob. After you dry it, do try and make some sort of spool holder inside the chamber if you have one and print from there. Otherwise, ABS ASA is the way to go

PETG is one hell of a stringing mess. My first guess would be wet filament. If not, then fine tuning the filament and temps and retraction
