Corduroy shorts
I was looking at these shorts from Manresa, but I’ve heard some iffy things about their QC. Does anyone have any recommendations for similar shorts, preferably with an additional single front pocket? I’d prefer corduroy, but I’m open to other options as I can’t imagine there are that many similar shorts around. I do like the large pockets on the linen shorts pictured as well, if there’s anything similar to those.
I’d like to keep it under $150 and I’m open to used. I was considering the battenwear local shorts but I’m having no luck finding them used so far, and I’m curious about other options.

I hadn't heard about QC issues with Manresa, but they're a pretty small operation, so it's not super surprising. Battenwear would have been my recommendation before I got to the last sentence... Maybe 18East has something you'd be into.
Just get the Manresa ones dawg
If you look into any company enough you'll find QC issues. Manresa is probably way better about QC than your typical brand
i actually have the corduroy ones - only worn once but they’re really comfortable and all the pockets are super convenient. i haven’t noticed any glaring qc issues so far, but i’m def anxious to see how they hold up with repeated wears over time
i’m referring to the shorts on the left, the highland shorts
fwiw my solitary 18east purchase (painter jeans) had massive holes in the front pockets. they replaced them immediately (i’m local so just went to their shop) but the new pair quickly developed the same holes. just tissue paper fabric in the pockets i guess lol

Looks like battenwear and 18east seem to be the play though. I’ll keep an eye out
This is fair. A friend told me they had qc problems and I trust them, but I assume they would replace anything with issues
