Sculpting build not working on quest

Thank you for your reply 🙂 I opened it with LightningLauncher and it says "...-featuresculpting.apk" in the title. Also when I look at the back of my hand inside of OB it states the version number as "2.4.37" :/

I meant - how are you actually launching this version of Open Brush. Are you going via "Unknown Sources" in the Library?

I just did and checked again, but it's the same. Lightning Laucher ist basically a Skin for the Quests' Interface. Sorry for not making that clear.

Did the app entry in Unknown Sources have the word "sculpting" in the title?

Yep 🙂 I use the Quest App Lab Beta Version of OpenBrush and installed the Sculpting Version in parallel.

You're right - the button is missing! I'll fix that tomorrow and let you know.

Yeah - it's kinda hard to use. Make sure you create hull strokes with lots of vertices. The sculpting tools don't add new vertices - they just use what's there

Yeah I noticed that it only acts on existing vertices.. Well it is a way to create concave hull shapes but it's a bit messier than I had hoped. 😂 Would it be possible to create a "negative hull brush" which is basically an invisible hull brush that carves out any hull it touches?

Everything is possible ! I just need an efficient mesh CSG library that runs on Android and has a permissive licence 😉
