Dash delays the otherwise smooth animation
@Daniel - COO
Hi
When I started dash, I felt a noticeable lag when playing the level sequences, even though there was no Dash script in the scene. Obviously the Dash is refreshing or detecting something every frame, and my switching the Dash non-Runtime mode didn't fix anything. I hope the later version optimizations will fix this, otherwise I'll have to turn Dash off to preview the animation smoothly.
Thanks!

Hmm, do you mean that you haven't used any Dash tools at all in the scene?
You only opened the Dash prompt bar? 🤔
Yes, after I turned off the plugin, it was obvious that the sequence animation played very smoothly, and once the plugin was turned on, it was significantly delayed.
Actually in this project I just started the plugin and didn't even click on the icon, it just showed up in my title bar.
The only thing that may be relevant to dash is the data, I have it and I can't remember when it was added, maybe it was version 1.5, or version 1.6, I think it might be a bug, a lot of materials and a mannequin were added to my content folder, I didn't do anything about it. They should theoretically be in the plugin folder of the engine.
However, I don't think they affect performance, they are only in the content directory and are not added to the scene. After closing the plugin, they still exist, but the animation is smooth. Apparently, the plugin refreshes or detects performance lag in the background during playback.
Thanks for mentioning this, we will look into this next week and get back to you!
Sorry for the issues!
I see.Thanks!
