Which tuxedo option would you pick?
Any criteria you can think of applies! I just have a budget of around $500-600 and I've done the research on what style I want - the two linked below seem to be the best of what I can get; please let me know if you have other suggestions!
I just know nothing about clothing quality, etc. and have more than a few black-tie weddings coming up. I have my own wedding, too - I'm wearing a peak lapel and I'd like to look different at the other weddings, so I'm going with the shawl collar. I like the black tux option, since I can go into Nordstrom, but if the Indochino quality is much better, I'd go with that.

A few more things to help:
* in person is preferable, but online is fine.
* I need it by May 17
* Second hand is fine
* 5'11' 180lb with a little muffin top
I don't know much about tuxes to actually give any help sorry but indochino being bad is such a common thing here that it has it's own sticker

spier and mackay might be worth a look, though they're definitely on the upper end of your budget if you include alterations
I don't think they have ready to wear shawl lapel tuxedos actually, but they offer them for MTO which starts at $673

cheap materials and construction, it's the same shit as your typical cheap suit rental places like men's wearhouse
so best bet would be to get a high-quality, but used tux on ebay?
they couldn't even get the fit right on their model, look at those shoulders
yeah. ebay is the way
you gotta know your measurements though, so measure a suit jacket, sport coat, or blazer that fits you well and go off of that, if possible
yeah I think I'm gonna go to a tailor to get measured
honestly getting your body measurements is not as useful as knowing the measurements of clothing that fits you well
when you're looking on ebay people will list "this jacket has 18" shoulders" not "this jacket will fit a person with 17" shoudlers" yknow

if I were you I'd post em and get feedback on what fits the best

If I just bought a jacket that’s high end, how hard would it be to find pants (in-person) to match or that look good?

I'm not a tux expert so I'll defer to others' advice but I know Zegna makes good stuff. If you end up going for it I'd try to offer down to 200 or so
Make sure the measurements are solid. A drop 7 is higher than normal
The brand was on that list that Michael sent and the measurements do line up

It means the difference in jacket and pant size is 7. 6 is more typical
Let me double check but the measurements for the pants seemed to line up too
Says waist 34” with 3” to let out, I’m a 34 in normal jeans/khakis
The measurements give room to tailor too
Free return so I think I’m gonna pull the trigger
