Bluemap Question
Bluemap does not fully render the map and hasn't- only the areas players explore- i want it to render the entire map within the box.

it only renders chunks that have been generated
so it'll only render what plays explore
if you want to render the entire map, you will need to generate it

you can use this plugin to generate all of the chunks
just keep in mind, its a very slow and long process, that will take alot of your servers resources
and by the look of your map... ALOT of disk space, so you might not want to do it imo

24 average playerbase basic smp
usually 20k x 20k is usually what i do and never had to worry about it

Well run chunky, then if bluemap doesn’t update automatically you can always run a force render which will re render the entire world.
chunky shape square (or circle, whatever)
chunky radius 20000 (or whatever)
chunky center 0 0 (or do /chunky spawn to set it to spawnpoint)
chunky world [world] (whichever world to pregen in)
chunky start (start pregenning)
If bluemap doesn’t update, do
bluemap force-update [world]ok

i went 50k by 50k but only cause i have the storage and ram for it.
How the hell do you backup your world :pepecross: '
i dont just backup the world, i backup the entire vps it's hosted on.
can roll back up to 3 days at any given time
i also got a compressed copy of the world before any players connected on my own pc
and then i'm also going make it a point to download an up to date copy at least once a week.
