Hi, I want to know where exactly the eu server is hosted. Like country and city.
I’d like to get the lowest ping possible.

Hi I did everything to improve my ping. But in this case it only can become better by getting closer to the server. What form in the customer support tab do I have to use? As you mentioned the support should be able to tell me the exact server location.

Chill , getting close to server doesn’t mean u get lower ping if server is unstable due to other clients joining with 100 ping from Uzbek Russia and other Russification country’s .
And google said pubgm server is in Frankfurt as well as pubg pc server

I know that the server is in Frankfurt but a confirmation would be nice. But I don’t like it when you get the „ask ingame support“ card when clearly this can’t be asked there.
Well moving closer means less distance and reduced ping. I can’t control server sided bugs but lower ping means smoother animations and an reaction time advantage. Given that you have optic fiber connection all the way into your house.
Maybe if the opportunity occurs and the ping there is <1. I’m stuck with 15-19 ms currently.

my guy your reaction time largely outweighs the actual internet ping
avg human reaction time is 200ms (give or take like 50)
moving to get a better gaming experience, especially when you already have low ping, is unreasonable

I know the difference doesn’t seem much but you will definitely feel it. The game is super smooth and responsive at 0 ms. It’s the same for example when you play with 20 ms constantly and then your ms drop to 40 for longer and you feel the difference despite only being 20 ms.
Have you ever played at 0 ms?
- 1 it doesn't exist, you need to be inside the data center
- 2 the game lies to you when it shows ms
start by checking whether your internet setup is acceptable
often people have trash internet equipment and thinks they can't get better unless they move
1. Your right 0 ms in the true sense of the word don’t exist. It’s a term in the fps shooter scene that basically means „get the lowest ping possible“. I might said that wrong, I never truly meant a „real“ 0 ms ping.
2. The game doesn’t lies when showing ms. In the settings you see the true current ping with fast update time. Only in matches the ping below 20 is not displayed.
ping in settings is real but you aren't actually playing the game, so it's not really helpful - pinging the server isn't the same as actively trying to communicate with the server your movement etc.,
I'm also pretty sure your ping in-game can be different if you team up with friends even in the same region, with doesn't show in settings.
and honestly <20ms is good enough if it's consistent, realistically you shouldn't feel much difference between <5 and <20 ms
if you do it means you are not getting consistent 20ms
Interesting idea there could be more server locations in Europe. But I’m always on Frankfurt regardless who is in my team.
I’m using an optic fiber connection that goes into my house. There is no package loss and my ping is stable at 18 ms. It is good don’t get me wrong but the difference is still huge.
how tf would you know the difference is huge? you've played in frankfurt?

Okay so you know this feeling when your ping goes above 30-40 and actions get slower like picking up items, equipping items and jumping through windows. It’s the same for a person on near 0 ms when they jump to 20 ms suddenly. As a 20 ms player you can’t notice the change until you play at a lower ping for a longer period of time.
That's not the case in the other way around I'm pretty sure.
You can't use what you feel at 30-40ms vs 20 ms to imagine what <10 ms feels like.
