High-rise, heavy grey cotton pants?
Hi, I am looking for a pair of grey cotton pants in a high-rise (around 13') that would be appropriate for cold weather. Ideally they'd be moleskine or corduroy. Thank you.

I thought O'Connells would have something for you tho I didn't see that color under either their moleskin or cotton drill fabric
Those fabric names would be useful for searching for those pants from other places
I think moleskin is the heavier of the two
They have grey corduroy.
Oh great! Sorry I missed that you asked for moleskin or cord. You can call them for exact measurements
Spier has moleskin trousers however I don’t recall if the rise is to your specifications.
They do not have grey last I checked.
Why not go for gray wool flannel or Calvary twill?
Moleskin pants are good for cold weather, mountaineers wear them, but it's sorta niche and maybe hard to find any particular specifications
I want something that I can wear causally to dress down a navy blazer.
I have a pair of cavalry twill from spier in a light brown color that do the job. The fabric is cotton and the texture makes it interesting.
Yeah but I am also looking for something that works with black shoes.
I wear my black Chelseas with those trousers and it’s good. To me, grey is a formal color. The cotton can dress it down a little however I think that wool flannel or cavalry twill in brown would do the job as well.
I've usually thought that black works better with cooler colours (e.g. grey, blue, navy, etc) whilst warmer colours are better paired with brown.
I hear ya. For me, it depends on the brown. Lighter ones with cooler elements will work with black however I have some brown moleskin and wool trousers which won’t.
