Tuning VCore with dual linear rail on gantry

I think you probably have too much friction somewhere.
Could be the dual rail binding. Loosen the long screws going through the gantry a bit and see if you make move it easier by hand then.
You could drill out the holes in the bottom part a bit to give it some adjustability I'm height to prevent the bottom rail from binding due to the height or a tilted carriage
The amplitudes are too low
