Flat Head Flannel alternatives
I’ve finally decided that Flat Head flannels won’t fit me (even the rare size 46 is a little off). Which is a shame since the fabric is my favorite flannel fabric. Anyone have an alternative that gets close? Iron Heart and 3Sixteen don’t have the same yarn texture or 3D look and feel ( if that is the way to describe the fabric)

I’ve been thinking about getting a Wythe shirt this year
My only issue is I want a moleskin, flannel, and maybe a tencel.

I’m a 44 chest and cannot fit a Flat Head size 46, but a UES size 5 fits great.
How’s the fabric?

Engineered Garments Heavy Twill flannels are fairly textured (and fit pretty roomy).
i have an EG Workaday that's built like a tank. Fit's a bit longer than teh Flat Head but it's reaaaal thick.
I don't own a flannel from them yet but I love my tencel and moleskin pearlsnaps
I would email Self Edge to ask. Flat Head has many qualities in terms of flannels. If you like a particular quality, take a photo and email it to Self Edge. They may have shirts that are similar.
Thanks! I ended up doing that a few days ago. Kiya recommended the new Samurai flannels.
