Brand loyalty. - Topic of the day 1/11/24
What is brand loyalty to you? Do you have any brands you feel you'd fall under this umbrella?

Don't think I have any specific loyalty to a brand, just brands I would put under a "accepted" list in my head, where I'd actively follow them on instagram and check when they have a new collection out.
Although there is some loyalty I guess where for these brands I have a assumption of what the quality would be like and accept the high price knowing the quality is going to be there based on prior experiences
Personally, my brand loyalty is if I either find a fit from a particular company that works for me, or if their aesthetic matches my own. But I don’t define my own style based on a particular brand’s catalog.
Wouldn’t say I’m loyal but I do have a very small selection of brands that I tend to buy from - typically because I like their stuff, knows it fits me well, or have had good experiences previously
I’m not averse to trying new stuff of course, but once I find something that “works” for me, I tend to use that as a bit of a go to for future purchases
I have brand loyalty because I like their vision.
Yeah...I feel like I've become a bit loyal to Patagonia because they seem to emphasize quality, plus environment and sustainability.
Until this year I probably didn’t have more than 2-3 things from any one brand
Now I have 4? Things from kapital
I like the idea of brand loyalty, but then I think of something I want to buy and I find a different brand that makes a really good version of it. So, I have a ton of brands in my closet.
I love thrifting too. I tend to shop for a specific type of item, and if it seems good quality and fits the need, then I don't really care what brand it is.
That being said, fuck Shein.
I think if I had a lot more money maybe I’d have more brand loyalty
But I can’t really be loyal to RRL
Ask to be a brand ambassador lol
Ah yes Mr Lauren you need my 350 followers
Please give me free 400 dollar jeans
Just track him down and spill a coffee on him one day
meet cute
I do know people who work there so that strategy is way more likely
Unfortunately I think he would melt if I spilled coffee on him
hahaha
I like brands that make things I like, simple as
A lot of stuff I like is out of my budget, so it's useful learning what brands are influenced by. Like tons of brands make fatigue pants and jackets with different details, but if you're on a budget you can get vintage ones.
Most of the brands I pay attention to are ones I've had good experiences with, so I tend to get more of the same, seems pretty normal. I think its odd when people make an effort to wear one brand for everything, or buy every release just cause. I came across this "Iron Heart Army" on instagram, for example, is such a strange phenomenon to me. Seems like a cult
I own more orslow than anything else, but I’d say im a peanuts loyalist. Snoopy collab? Im interested. Little trinkets? Sign me up.
Brand loyalty can be done right but mostly when I see people dressed head to toe in one brand it looks costumey.
All my life I wanted to be in a cult, to really believe in something
Fashion works so well for that
you could always start your own
Too much work
only loyalty i have is to the drip
Cant say I have any brand loyalty. Stuff changes too much, and being loyal to a brand is pretty cringe when you say it out loud.
Supporting a brand makes sense when they're small, but for large corporations I don't see any reason to be loyal at all
shoutouts to all the Vlone Villains out there
Yeah, it's hard to imagine buying something just because of the brand. But I can totally understand "I'll see what XXXX has first, because they've worked for me in the past"
yeah that's a good take
Like, if I want a warm gorp-y jacket, I'm going to check out Patagonia.
Yeah, at the end of the day they're just a company. If a brand resonates you for whatever reason (they fit you well, you like their ethos or whatever, some other personal connection) than it's chill
I dream to be dressed head to toe in acne
But you won't buy my bla konst skinny jeans, curious
I’m loyal to the DoD, milsurp til i die
wearing my acne coat and scarf just oto flex on charli
I bought that peacoat. We'll see if it fits...
or if I need to go to basic training and lose some weight.
my wardrobe has become very slanted towards one brand but is less loyalty and more me trying to avoid impulse buying a lot more of stuff. even then i have started sewing and would love to transition from buying that one brand to making my own stuff and buy a lot less
that's the dream. I should quit my job and take up sewing.
i am just starting but yeah, hope i can get somewhere with this. i have some trousers i love that i absolutely wrecked, so I've already broke it up into pieces with a seam ripper and will be trying to create the pattern off of that
Less brand loyalty and more brand predictability. I go to the brands I usually do because it's a known commodity, especially if buying secondhand.
i have some go-to brands but i wouldnt call it loyalty. there are some things that i just like about certain offerings from certain brands, but i'm not blindly purchasing stuff just because its from so-and-so brand
