Orbiter v2 filament sensor on EBB36
I installed an ebb36 and I am facing the following problem, I have an Orbiter v2 extruder with a filament sensor and I can't figure out if I can connect the filament sensor directly to the ebb36 or do I have to run wires to the Octopus board?

as long as you have spare pins on your ebb36 you should be able to use them for the filament sensor
Did you ever figure this out? I am in the process of doing same thing and have same question
You can connect it to the EBB36, either to the 5 pin probe or as I did on my EBB42, the 4 pin 12C (PB3 and PB4, although the pins may change with different versions).
