I dont rly understand this
On my belt tensioning the second peak is completly missing, the belts are exactly the same tention for the first peak.x and y is is kinda weird since x is lower than it should be imo.I'll Appreciate any help

What printer is that? Your X axis graph doesn't show any vibrations Y is also an order of magnitude lower than usual results (scale is the 1e3 number in the top left corner of the graph) it should be in 1e4 or 1e5 scale
I would assume that your adxl sensor isn't mounted well.
i think i forgot the shims but adxl itself is firlmy installed and doesnt move
Which shims?
Between Adxl and Eva 3
This doesn’t make any sense since the spacer are between the screws and the adxl, imo it shouldn’t affect results
Are they even included in the kit before October where the adxl didn’t shipped with
If the adxl is mounted well you have a issue with motion system.
Have you try to print anything?
Video of the resonance test might allow someone to help you pin point where the problem is.
hmm printing works good for me,wait ill do a video,is test or tension
The X axis preferably as it has the most issues
so just IS test for x axis, alright
Yup. I don't know if I can help you tho. But if anyone else finds the thread they will have more info for diagnosing.
After the test. You could check the belt tension with a spectrogram app. It's not precise but will get us an idea if they are extremely tight or lose.
Steps:
1. Move the gantry to the Y endstop
2. Plunk the belts going from front idler to the XY joiner or both sides (the one going along the Y axis further away from the extrusions) like a guitar string somewhere in the middle, and see on the spectrogram app at what frequency it resonates.
didnt change anything lol
I don’t know from what angle I should record I can of course do another test
It definitely doesn't sound like the graph looks like 😆
Could you do another test and see at which frequency the printer is the loudest?
Your wire loom is kind of a mess, but that would cause other issues
Could you also check what
ACCELEROMETER_QUERY
And
MEASURE_AXES_NOISE
Commands return?
around 65hz is the loudest
and 125 is also loud not as loud but somewhat loud
also here are the new results idk if it matter probably not
and for the loom i wanted to finish that today, ill do it now
The accelerometer query result is bad.
It should be something like
Recv: // adxl345 values (x, y, z): 470.719200, 941.438400, 9728.196800
Your adxl thinks it's accelerating 2g in all sides
So the results are fuckedhmm,i found out that there is small wiggle for the adxl,bc the screw cant rly screw tight,i think thats the real problem
ill show it
Small wiggle is bad. But it shouldn't matter for ACCELEROMETER_QUERY if the printer is stationary
I think your adxl might be faulty 🤔
Could you try unscrewing it completely from the carriage and running the command again?
toolboard is being shipped so i get a new one kind of
still need to find a decent usb c cable
do i connect the usb with the rpi or what,it isnt mentioned in the docs and i only saw people connecting it with can
still bad
For toolboard? Just like your main board. Single usb from RPI to the toolboard + 24v and ground wires
Yeah, either the adxl is broken or some weird contact issues
ok
could be wiring issues, since i had trouble crimping the small ethernet wires to a point where i could pull them of the dupont connector
but ig ill wait till the toolboard arrives and then look at it again
just need to print a mount ig
Just make sure it's a solid one 😄
im still wondering myself how can i get a single can connector for crimping
The connectors are included with the toolboard
oh cool ig
