sunglasses
I have a pair of 10 yr old new wayfarers and some all black goodrs. I need something new. Thinking of getting 2 (maybe even 3) pairs for some versatility. Ideally they would be less than $150 a pair but am flexible. Maybe one pricey pair and one affordable. My style is basic, a combo of prep and workwear. What would you get if you had a few hundred dollars to buy 2-3 pairs?

Otherwise its mostly go to stores and try em on, glasses/sunglasses have enough variety and versatility that they are more a personal thing imo, barring some extremely out there ones
If you have vision insurance and don't need glasses or contacts, check if that'll cover sunglasses. I've gotten my last couple pairs for free.
shady rays are pretty cheap and you could get several pairs for under a couple hundred
I don't think my VSP wants to cover my Randolph's
