First time starting up a RatRig vcore 3.1 500mm - Controller board fan not running
Hi everyone,
I am trying to figure out wha6t I missed int he configuration of the RatOS for the controller board fan.
I have tried a 4-pin and now just trying to get the 2-pin fan to run.
I am using a Manta M8P with a tool head board which boots up to the RatOS/Klipper screen, but I just do not get the controller fan to work.
Any ideas?

I just tried homing and found the fan does run when the homing command was issued. I was thinking the fan would be a constant run or based on the temperate of the CPU or board.
Yeah, that's intended. Controller fans run when a stepper or heater is on and 30 seconds after the last has turned off. This behavior is documented in the klipper documentation.
MCU itself shouldn't need active cooling. It's primarily for the drivers.

The Raspberry Pi is running at about 48-50C. I was hoping to cool it a little bit unless not really needed.
