VC3.1 500 bed not heating

hi guys haven't turned on my printer for a few weeks and went to run some prints today and now the bed won't heat the thermal fuse shows 120V running through it when i send the command to heat the bed but nothing happens then the printer shuts down since the bed isn't heating properly.

ok so, edit the bed shows that when i send the command it looks as though its starting to heat up but only by like .5 of a degree

you need to see if the bed actually isn't heating or it is the thermister. Try taking a hair dryer or something and pointing it at the bed thermistor and see if it changes in the web ui. If so, then you need to investigate the bed more

Thermistor is good pointed a hot air gun at the bed and temp went up right now the bed is sitting at 16c in my shop when i tell it to go to 60c for example it'll jump to 16.5c- 16.7c but them drops again and the bed temp rises when i have the chamber heater on as well

well, if you are sure it is getting power past the thermal fuse, sounds like the actual heater is broken which is rare maybe you can check everything for continuity?

gunna have to tear it apart in the morning and check it all cuz i checked the fuse after requesting for the bed to heat and it showed 120v through it so ill have to make sure it contiues past that ok so i tested all the way and forth again and i must have missed it early but the thermal fuse shows no continuity so yeah figured that one out, thank gawd its not the whole mat that needs to be replaced.
