leveling issue
hello I am having an issue with the lurkr bot where I dont get xp in private channels but i do in public even tho I have the option set to global

Can the bot see the private chats
Do i add the bot to the added permissions is what your saying
I added it but still doesnt work
Also make sure you are sending a message every minute that isn’t a command for testing, as commands are not tested

The last point shows you the error, you have the leveling channels set up as a whitelist, meaning any channels in there will be allowed to level up. You need to add some channels in order for leveling to work
So on the dashboard under whitelist add the private channels
Cuz the bot lvls up on every other channel all beside the private ones
Can you reload the dashboard and show me what it looks like

Ok so it worked. But is it possible to just have the level system work throughout the whole discord and only block certain chats from leveing than having to add all cuz the limit is 30.
Its weird cuz it was working before normally and i didnt even add them to the list but only the private chats werent working now its on the private chats i added work and the rest dont
I want it where members can gain lvls everywhere besides the channels i exclude

Ok i just did that tysm. Idk why it wasnt working before i thought i had it set to that
