btw generally X homes first and then Y, in yours its clearly the opposite which tells me that not only the motors but the endstops are also swapped so swap the endstops too you might have witnessed the X slam the wall and not stop 1. if your X is now trying to home first but moving the other way, add ! to the dir_pin in stepper_x in your config, there's already a commented out instruction next to it explaining the same 2. Repeat for Y if it's trying to home away from the endstop your issue should be fixed

goes to home gantry first... hits endstop... moves 1mm back.. then hits it again and says that Endstop x still triggered after retract

gantry as in Y ? just making sure that you're talking about the printhead here (X) well i think it's just loose wires on your endstops, do check them (if you've crimped them it's possible that tugging on them might have unseated them in the female housing)

There's an endstop checking feature in ratos mainsail Somewhere in the machine settings if i recall Just refresh it and try to manually press the switch And see if it's status changes appropriately If your endstops are like mine (triggered normally, open when clicked) then you'll need to change your config

i'm reinstalling firmware again cause i kept messing with it for the last hour... most probably i fked it up completely starting from scratch 😄 Ok... still same problem 😦 double checked the cables... all of them are connected corectly... printer still thinks it's 90 off and in a weird way... when in mainsail.. if i press left... it moves forward... managed to fix that somehow... but now it's ignoring my endstops ....

check your endstops using the above described feature its possible that your endstops are just working differently (Normally closed vs Normally open)

when i go for querry endstops they appear open, when i click them by hand and querry... they say triggered they work fine just not when i try to home Solved: Messed around with the cables + inverted one of them in the printer.cfg + added one 120mm Steper fan + went into performance mode on the steppers 🙂 and now it works
