Should my watch be worn in front of or behind my wrist bone?

I’m just getting into wearing a watch, and noticed that my watch doesn’t really come out from under my shirt when I go to check it. If I wear my watch where it feels natural to, it’s higher up my arm than what it looks like in people’s pictures. Am I doing it wrong?

Usually behind the wrist bone so that the crown doesn't dig into your wrist or even back of your hand By the way, killer watch!
