What does mfa think of racing jackets? I've mostly seen them on women irl until now but feel like it could become more of a thing for men as well? Kinda conflicted if it's edgy larping or if it can be cool with some street wear or punky aesthetics.

It’s only larping if it has armor imo
its a cool aesthetic if you can pull it off confidently. i personally avoid wearing stuff that i dont feel is authentic to myself for that reason, but that's just me

I mean, it's fashion, you're allowed to larp... how many people in here walk around near-daily dressed as a cowboy, some kind of worker they aren't, in full yohji, etc. I guess I just don't think of it like that, some items you have to lean into a little!
Some jackets are maybe cooler than others though bc of the advertisements... I mean, the Viagra themed fit could go hard I guess, in a way...
idk. take a risk, start a trend, develop your personal style, I think they can look sick in streetwear fits 🤷🏽♂️
