What to wear w/ wider jeans
Just bought a pair of wider jeans. Normally I'm a slim (but not skinny) wearer. These are a fair bit roomier and have no taper (they're Nudie Gritty Jacksons). I kinda wish they sat higher... They're mid blue and I was going for 90's Seinfeld/dad jean vibes. But they were a good price and I think I can make them work.
What should I wear with them? Trying not to break the bank, but a shirt or two would do. Seems a lot of my current shirts (eg pretty standard button downs, not slouchy but not tight) make me look bottom heavy. Also the lack of taper makes my (already small) feet look tiny?

Post fit pics if you think they make you look disproportionate, but they probably don't - might just take you a little bit for your brain to get used to a straight fit
Straight fit blue jeans are like, the closest thing to capital-V Versatile you can get
I wear bigger shoes with my wider jeans, maybe that’s what’s tripping you up
But yeah they go with a ton and pictures are king here so if you can take pics please do
If your current shirts are more slim fit, that could definitely look a bit off with wider cut jeans. You may need upgrade to shirts with a bit more room. J crew for eg has “giant fit” ocbds (really only a bit roomier than slim fit).
