Advice on fuse/plug

Hello, I just got my printer up and running (400mm with Rapido 2.0 Plus UHF, 1000W bed) and I've been about to print for a number of hours now with success. A little bit ago, I started a print and realized I forgot something in slicing and hit the cancel print button. The machine instantly went unresponsive and (after a few minutes) I found out the blew the fuse in the power socket (250V 5A fuse). Any advice on where I should go from here? Should I try to get a larger load fuse? The socket itself says it's rated for 250V 10A, yet came with a 250V 5A fuse. I'm in US so I believe my outlets are 120v, 15A.

You have to add up all your components to figure that out. Your bed draws 8.33 amps so no wonder the fuse blew. I don't know your other peripherals amperage but you should be OK with 10 amp fuse, although I personally would add smaller fuses to your sensitive electronics.

It is important that you also select the correct gauge wiring for your AC connections to account for higher amperage. Your socket is rated for 10 amps likely due to it having 16 gauge premade wiring. You should use a socket rated for 15 amps with at least 14 gauge wiring to be safe I highly recommend consulting with an electrician if you are not familiar with electrical standards. Mains is dangerous

a 1000 wat bed heater will pull 8+a all by itself (albeit only when first heating) and drops duty cycle only after warm. But the on/off pulsing of the heater is still an 8 amp spike switching on and off as needed. A 10A fuse should be ok, but may slowly deteriorate and blow again after a couple dozen-100 prints.
