Briefcase/leather 'work bag' leather colors
Are men supposed to own multiple briefcases (like a black and brown) to match their shoes/belt/etc.? I don't own one briefcase (yet!), but I'm thinking about getting one that's green, which looks cool but matches nothing, evenly. Am I overthinking this???

Suitcase/briefcase doesn't need to match
Am I overthinking this?Yep!
The idea of matching all your accessories is sold to you by people who want to sell you accessories. Also, cannibals. Don't listen to either.
You don't have to get different matching briefcases, like people above said, but I think this green one combined with the pattern will be very loud and won't easily fit with anything. Since you're probably using a briefcase for more formal settings, brown or black leather are definitely easier to style and I personally like the classic look more as well.
Imo you don't need to 'style' anything. Your briefcase just happens to be green, it's not part of your outfit
