New Plate is not flat
So I just got a new plate to replace one that is warped, and it has a wave from one side to the other with a range of .443 to .446. I have not added the heated pad or the magnetic pad so it's just bare metal. I was getting .255 with my warped bed and by adding a bit of aluminum tape I got it corrected to .205. Is that normal for a new plate?

no. ... well.... most are spec'ed at +/- 1 to 0.5mm mm across the entire plate
but if that were the best case, many of us would not be at less than .2mm, .115 etc
I sent it back and order one from RatRig. They said that they consider a variance below 0.4 mm to be within spec. So I am hoping it is
