Is there certain styles short men shouldn't wear?
I'm a short guy (5'3) and I really like grunge, cryptidcore. I'm not sure what the actual terms are calle but thats what I see online. Would I be able to wear that or would it look weird?

i'm pretty short, i'm 5'5, i don't think there's explicitly rules on what you shouldn't wear

but if you're uncomfortable about your height and you're trying to look taller, that's a different bag of problems
just get clothes that fit you right, especially pants

a lot of pants I get are from uniqlo and they are good for shorter folks. They also tailor for free when you buy a pair of pants!
a recent pickup i've been liking a lot are their linen wide-fit pleated pants; they hemmed it for me because i'm on the shorter side, but now it fits great!

Shit, i bought the linen blend open collar shirt from the women’s section and it fit me like a glove.
Whole new world buying from the women’s side
yeah another plus is that i fit in the larger womens sizes (L/XL), but im like M/L in mens. so a lot of it goes on sale :D
Dude, I can agree and attest! Also knowing your measurements allows you to make amazing finds seconhand at a discount to boot too. Never going back to the men’s section unless it’s being tucked in or hemmed 😀

5’5” here. You should wear whatever you like, but pants especially will look better if they’re hemmed to a reasonable length
is getting your pants hemmed an expensive thing? or does is it just depend

Just don't wear whatever that alpha men guy wears.
It's just harder to find stuff that fits the way you want but overall there's no strict lines of what short men can and cannot wear.
