Vintage Baseball Jerseys
Curious if anyone has any inspo for styling vintage baseball jerseys. I really like the idea of a lot of the ebbets ones, but I have no real idea as to how I would style. I feel like there's a very fine line between cool and corny with these (as with all sports jerseys). I would rather not look like Zack Hample.

I don't even know that I consider those to be vintage because they were designed to look futuristic
I’ve been eyeing those ebbets jerseys and having similar thoughts. I haven’t thought it through too much, but I feel like they don’t lend themselves super easily to fitting into a particular style niche. I think the way to go is to think of them as like a summer cardigan to be worn open, and focus on making the pants and shoes more interesting to signal that you’re not just a sporty guy wearing a game day jersey.
This obviously is not a jersey, but I think you could sub in a baseball jersey in place of the cardigan and it would look cool
yeah this from @charlie is the closest thing I have to an actually functioning outfit with one of them
the issue for me though comes with the short sleeves bc that makes it harder to throw over an ocbd
but yeah I agree that it definitely needs to be worn open
Yeah that’s sick. I think the ocbd would be tough, I think you gotta go graphic t or just plain t and then focus on the other details

Other thing I’ve considered is tucked and halfway buttoned

but again part of what I feel like makes this outfit work for me is the rolled sleeves which you lose with a jersey

I feel like the pants have a lot of interest and slouchiness, and you could get some of the same slouchiness if you buttoned like the middle 3 buttons of the jersey

the biggest hangup for me with ebbets is price
rather not pay $235 for something I'm not even sure will work for me

Fwiw I think maybe leather shoes like Joel did adds something. Like some chunky docs or derbies could take you out of normie jersey wearer territory
