Printed Parts
Trying to print the tensioning system for the EVA 3.0.2 for my ratrig 3.1 that I am putting together. The tension blocks don't fit into the printed parts and I am printing with Overture PETG with a ender 3 v2 with sprite pro. I've printed the part about three times now and the tops and bottoms are to narrow and when putting the tension block in it bows the part out. I need help

simple sand paper. Ot depending on your slicer, just undersize the tensioner blocks by 1-2%

Using cura
Well switched to prusa slicer @ptegler
The problem is the belts don't into the teeth cause the ends are to close together. @ptegler
agreed...getting the belts into the grooves is a royal pain. so your options are fight through it, or print it slightly oversized 1-2% and sand it down to fit snugly but not tightly. Or like me...ditch that tensioner backplate completely for one of the other remote tensioner options out there.

Can you send a link for the remote tensioner
one example BRS-Engineering LEVER system
then are a variety on the various printable 3d parts sites...just look for ' open front tensioner'

I don't think I can cause mine in the enclosed version
My VC500 is enclosed, and uses the BRS designed units.
I like them more so that the TOP of the belt pulley has a bearing supporting the motor decoupled belt pulley. (bearings top and bottom o nthe pulley)
The belt tension adjuster is the front facing nut/screw, in the block left of the main motor area.
What's your extrusion multiplier? May be a slight over extrusion causing the dimensions to be slightly oversized but all the holes and belt gaps to be under sized. That's the issue I had with PETG parts (had the opposite issue when I reprinted in ASA)
