With the new plan changes from the Developer Plan to the Hobby plan, there’s an additional $5 plan fee, which includes $5 usage and charges any additional usage over $5.
Hey, respectfully, if you are going to be in every thread telling people to move off the platform- it's your right and I won't stop you.
But I think you have better use of your time.
End of the day, we have costs and Railway provides tremendous value for what we offer, we have many users who got credits and many who didn't- some of which don't mind paying $5 because it saves them a tremendous amount of time.
We essentially bill $5 of credits upfront, we had to put this in place because people were attaching cards that passed the verification hold but would rack up insane bills that they never had intention to pay.
I understand the process can be confusing- we are working on it. But I hope you are respectfully discontent rather than "switch off lol"
Its not fair to us nor our users.

Change your pricing no one will go because lots of people use only for 2$ so they can pay 2$ but not 5$ because digital ocean vultr have 2.5$ plan
Then use those alternatives, the base cost of Railway is $5

Will the railway take feedback and change the base cost to pay as you use?
I think to use my 10$ prepaid credit means for the next 2 months and if the railway doesn't change the base plan i have to leave the amazing company

if you are not ok with paying 5 dolar and not using it all, you can always use it more
