4028 fan
Has there been a change with the new RatOS version, I now see that there are specific presets for 4 wire part cooling fans.
I had my 4028 working before the previous version, plugged like this:
[fan]
pin: !fan_part_cooling_pin
cycle_time: 0.00004
enable_pin: PB11 (HE3) or PA3 (HE1) (tried both)
it is configured like this from this guide https://os.ratrig.com/docs/guides/4028/ (from the running at 100% section)
now it's not event running, either from the UI or when I print something.
Connecting a 4028 fan | RatOS
4028 server fans are becoming a popular option for part cooling because of their light weight and great pressure and flow rates. In this guide we'll go over how to connect one and use it for part cooling. 4-pin fans usually aren't used in 3d printers, and many boards only provide 2-pin ports, but fear not! There's always a way.

Those configs are for boards that provide 4 pin connections for fans. What board do you have?

it was working before my update to the new ratos version, I basically just copied back the fan entry I had in the new printer.cfg but I suspect something is different now
Nothing is different
The only thing RatOS does with regards to that is map the pins to aliases
Like @blacksmithforlife said, the 4-pin includes are specifically for boards with 4-pin headers (which it explicitly says in the header of that section). Such as the SKRat or the Manta M8P
