What Steam Deck Version to buy
So im planning on getting a steam deck in the next few months but im really not sure on what version to get.
It seems like ALOT to upgrade from 64gb to 256gb, $130 more. The storage becomes NVME ssd instead of emcc. I dont know if I want to spend that extra money for that because cant I just get a 512gb micro sd to have more storage that would last me longer? Idk if I would care abt the feel of a non nvme base storage of the 64gb. Im not sure im not good with this stuff.

All models of the steamdeck are good enough. If storage is a concern, you can add additional storage with the microSD card slot and Valve has confirmed games run identically from that compared to internal storage.
I would say the 64GB model. If you want to replace the built in drive down the line, there are a lot more replacement drives coming out as time goes on
Unless you are tech unsavvy, it's always better and cheaper to get the base model and upgrade yourself if needed
GG @beroun, you just advanced to level 13 !
I didn't know the bot could write in threads lmao
go 64gb and micro sd card. can get internal drive when cheaper later on.
This is a good suggestion. I'm in a group for Deck owners, and they have said Valve is working on making sure shader cache stuff won't eat up the internal storage if using an SD card.
Thank you all i apreciate it :)
