Rpi touchscreen blank with backlight on after bootup

I use an Rpi 4B with the official touchscreen. I restarted the Pi recently and after splash screen is displayed and it completes bootup it just has a blank screen with the backlight on. I am able to connect via WiFi from my laptop and use the printer like that with no issues. I loaded a fresh RatOS install on a new SD card and the display works normally. I don't want to go through the entire setup process again for a new install. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot or fix this?

I just looked at the versions. The RatOS version that isn't displaying properly is shown as "v1.2.4-4-g898b8ae" in the Update Manager. Under System Loads, it shows "Distro: RatOS 1.2.2 (buster)". The fresh install that works has "2023-04-11-RatOS-v2.0.1-raspberry-rpi32.img.xz"

I recommend using v2 regardless, v1.2.x won't be supported after the end of this month.

Unfortunately you can't just copy your printer.cfg, but you can use it as reference. Everything in useroverrides would probably transfer just fine though.

Your board is already flashed, so you can skip the configurator after the wifi has been set up.

Great information, just what I was about to ask. I appreciate your assistance. I remember it took me weeks to figure this all out and get everything setup properly when I built the machine. I was dreading attempting that again.
